I am thinking that I have the phobia to draw, especially to draw something different, more different angles and pose... I fear that I will screw up and it always dont turn up well.. >_<;
do you all have the same phobia? how should I get over it?
I think there's always the first time for everything.. all you gotta do is keep experimenting Like me, I'm not used to drawing humans/figures and they look horrible.. but after a lot of practice I do think I'm improving. I think the hardest part is just accepting that your first attempts suck, and that everything will improve after much practice! We're always learning something new.. better than remaining stale. good luck vonz
Well, it's all about practice... My method at the moment is to make a comic series, which forces me to draw certain events because of the way my storyline goes. Sometimes I have a hard time, and sometimes I give up and draw the scene in an easier way, but not until I've *really* tried. Even the best artists also tend to use references... no shame in that, and it's a lot of help to have a picture of something you need to draw - that way you can be inspired, but there's no need to copy directly.
Waah glad to hear that I'm not alone ^^ Same here.. phobia of trying something new.. but I guess, you'll need to take the first step to conquer it which is to actually try it ... ask for crits and get feedback and try again After that, it no longer becomes a phobia
